Overview
The Megawise Humi01 is a 1.5 liter cool mist humidifier built for small spaces like a bedroom, home office or nursery, running at a rated 25 decibels for quiet overnight operation.
Amazon's own listing text for this unit repeats the same marketing line five times, so there is little detail beyond the headline numbers: 25dB noise level, a roughly 10 hour runtime and an auto shutoff. With a 1.5 liter tank it is sized for a single room rather than a whole floor.
- 1.5 liter cool mist tank
- Rated 25dB quiet operation
- Auto shutoff at empty
- Built-in aromatherapy tray
Who it's for
Suits someone humidifying one small to mid sized room overnight, such as a bedroom or nursery, who wants the unit to run quietly and shut off on its own once the tank empties. Not a fit for anyone trying to raise humidity across an open floor plan or a large room.
Pros and cons
- Rated for quiet 25dB operation near a bed
- Auto shutoff when the tank runs empty
- Aromatherapy tray for essential oils
- 1.5 liter tank may need refilling overnight
- No coverage area or room size given
Performance notes
The unit disperses a cool mist rather than heated steam, so there is no hot surface to keep away from kids or pets. A sensor triggers auto shutoff once the 1.5 liter tank runs dry, and the tray is built to accept aromatherapy oils if you want scent along with the moisture. At a rated 25dB, the fan and mist mechanism are designed to sit below normal conversation level, though actual room noise will vary with the mist setting used.
