Overview
A crowded desk or shared classroom corner is where the vertical AFMAT PS92 earns its place. It plugs in, stops automatically and offers two sharpness settings for pencils in a wide diameter range.
The vertical design saves counter space, and the blade is stainless steel in an ABS housing. Pencil range is wide compared with many listings in this size. Tray capacity and cord length are not listed.
Who it's for
Artists, students and home offices sharpening standard and colored pencils. The adjustable point suits both drawing and writing. Jumbo pencils fall outside the stated range.
Pros and cons
- Auto stop prevents oversharpening
- Two sharpness settings
- Wide pencil range
- Vertical design saves space
- Needs a wall outlet
- Tray capacity not listed
- Jumbo pencils not supported
Performance notes
A stainless steel blade cuts the point, and the automatic stop ends the cycle at the chosen sharpness. Two settings let the user choose between a durable or fine tip. The pencil opening sets the maximum diameter.
