Overview
A queen size mattress protector fitting mattresses up to 16 inches deep, with a soft quilted top over fiberfill and an elastic edge that holds it in place through the night.
The listing is specific that this pad blocks everyday moisture at the surface but is not fully liquid proof, so it functions as a soft mattress pad with waterproofing built in rather than a sealed cover, and a separate protector is suggested for full spill protection. Fiberfill quilting adds loft, distinct from a thin membrane-only protector.
- Fits up to 16 inch deep queen mattresses
- Quilted top with fiberfill
- Elastic all-around fit
- Machine washable, no bleach
Who it's for
Buyers wanting a soft, quilted mattress pad with waterproof backing and a snug elastic fit up to 16 inches deep. Not the right pick for anyone needing full, sealed liquid protection, the listing itself says it is not liquid proof.
Pros and cons
- Soft quilted top with fiberfill loft
- Elastic band keeps it from shifting
- Fits mattresses up to 16 inches deep
- Not liquid proof by the maker's own description
- No bleach permitted in the wash care instructions
Performance notes
An elastic band around the edge keeps this pad from slipping or bunching through a night's sleep, and fiberfill quilting adds loft that a plain waterproof sheet does not have. The maker is explicit that the waterproof layer resists everyday moisture rather than acting as a sealed barrier, so it should be treated as pad-level protection, not spill-in-progress protection.
