Overview
Catit Go Natural is a clumping cat litter made from pea husk rather than clay, sold in a roughly 12.3 lb bag with a natural scent profile.
As a plant-based litter it targets owners moving away from clay and the dust that comes with it. The pellet form and pea husk material are what separate it from clay-based clumping litters, and it's unscented beyond its natural pea husk smell.
- 12.3 lb bag, pea husk material
- Pellet form clumping litter
- Natural scent, no added fragrance
- Model 44144 from Catit
Who it's for
For owners wanting a plant-based, clay-free litter and comfortable with a pellet texture rather than fine clay granules underfoot.
Pros and cons
- Plant-based, clay-free material
- Clumps for scooping like traditional clay litter
- Natural scent rather than added fragrance
- Pellet texture differs from fine clay granules and may take a cat time to adjust to
- Smaller bag size than the 17 lb clay box in this batch
Performance notes
Pea husk is a natural fiber material that clumps when wet, working on a similar principle to clay but without the mineral dust that clay sheds during scooping and pouring.
