Overview
Pet Republic's folding wire dog crate gives large breed dogs a two-door metal enclosure, offered in 30, 36 and 42 inch sizes, with this listing's unit measuring roughly 35.4 by 23.1 by 26.2 inches and weighing about 17.9 lbs.
The brand field on this listing reads simply PET, but the title and full attribute set point to Pet Republic. It is built for indoor or outdoor placement, with additional features citing weather resistance, lockable doors and a collapsible frame.
- Two-door design
- Collapsible metal wire frame
- Sizes: 30, 36 and 42 inches
- Indoor/outdoor rated
Who it's for
Suits an owner of a large breed dog who wants a crate that folds flat for storage or travel between uses. Not the right fit for a dog that chews or works at wire panels to escape, where a heavier-duty crate holds up better.
Pros and cons
- Two doors for flexible access
- Collapsible for storage and transport
- Weather resistant for outdoor use
- Offered in three sizes
- Wire construction is less secure than solid panels
- No divider panel mentioned for growing puppies
Performance notes
The collapsible metal frame folds down for storage or transport and unfolds for setup, with two doors giving front and side access. A weather-resistant finish and lockable latches are the features called out for outdoor or unsupervised placement.
