Overview
Three drivers in the bar plus a wireless subwoofer fill the room with clearer dialogue and deeper bass than TV speakers. DTS Virtual:X processing widens the sound, and Bluetooth streams music from a phone.
A wireless subwoofer adds real low end without running a cable across the room. Surround and height effects come from processing, not extra speakers.
Who it's for
Households upgrading from thin TV speakers get louder, fuller sound with a sub. Movie buffs wanting true surround should choose a system with rear speakers.
Pros and cons
- Wireless subwoofer for bass
- Clearer dialogue than TV speakers
- DTS Virtual:X processing
- Bluetooth music streaming
- Virtual surround only
- No height speakers
- Remote is basic
Performance notes
Bass comes from the separate subwoofer, which can sit anywhere near an outlet since it links wirelessly. DTS Virtual:X uses processing to widen and lift the sound, so the effect depends on room shape and seating.
