Overview
Living rooms, kitchens and hallways being updated get a sleek paddle switch that rocks up and down and snaps into the adorne wall system. Each switch works alone at one location or with a second switch for three-way control.
Legrand's adorne look upgrades plain switches across a whole house, and the pack covers a dozen locations. Four-way circuits and higher amperage need the separate versions Legrand offers, and the listing includes no wall plates.
Who it's for
Homeowners restyling several rooms with the adorne line, including stairways switched from two places, get a matching set. Locations needing four-way control or a heavier circuit need a different adorne model.
Pros and cons
- Dozen switches per pack
- Single pole or three-way use
- Fits existing electrical boxes
- Matches adorne dimmers and fan controls
- Not for four-way circuits
- Wall plates not listed
- Spec table and bullets disagree on circuits
Performance notes
Switching follows a classic up and down paddle motion with two positions. Wiring uses screw terminals in the existing box with no new wires for a typical install, and the snap-in system speeds mounting. Pairing with an adorne dimmer or fan control gives a uniform look.
