Overview
The filter bay of a compatible LG or Kenmore Elite refrigerator is where this ICEPURE cartridge goes. Carbon fiber media inside the housing treats the water and ice supply, and the title cross-references the older part numbers it replaces.
Stocking several cartridges at once suits households that change filters on a schedule. The listing names a specific set of substances it reduces, including some drug residues and plasticizers, with compliance noted in the title. Fit depends entirely on the model list, and no replacement interval is given.
Who it's for
Households with one of the named refrigerators who want spares for the year get the most from a multipack. Owners of other brands should match the filter part number on their own manual.
Pros and cons
- Three cartridges in the set
- Long cross-reference of part numbers
- Lists specific contaminants it reduces
- Lifetime product warranty
- Replacement interval not listed
- Fit limited to named models
- Certification wording differs between title and specs
Performance notes
Water passes through carbon fiber, which adsorbs dissolved substances and traps particles, and the certification in the title refers to a test standard for those reductions. How long a cartridge lasts depends on the incoming water and the volume used. Swapping on a regular schedule helps hold flow and taste steady.
