Overview
Two full-range drivers in a low-profile bar handle dialogue and music, while a separate wireless subwoofer adds bass to the VIZIO V-Series system. It connects over HDMI for TV remote volume control, or streams from a phone over Bluetooth.
The low-profile design slides under the TV, and HDMI lets the original remote control volume. Virtual:X simulates height and width, but there are no surround or upfiring speakers.
Who it's for
Casual TV watchers and first-time soundbar buyers get easy setup and fuller sound. Home theater fans should look at a system with rear and height speakers.
Pros and cons
- Low-profile under-TV design
- HDMI with TV remote control
- Virtual surround only
- No Atmos listed
Performance notes
Two full-range drivers cover voices and music, and the wireless subwoofer handles the low notes. DTS Virtual:X processing widens the sound field without extra speakers. HDMI carries audio from the TV and lets the TV remote manage volume.
