Overview
Serta builds this electric blanket from soft plush microlight fabric in a twin size that also works as a couch throw. A controller sets the heat level and switches the blanket off on a timer, and the whole blanket goes in the washing machine.
Washability and plush fabric are what it offers: the whole blanket goes in the washer, and the microlight face is soft against skin. Thin detail is the weak spot, since the listing omits the heat level count, the timer length and the cord length.
Who it's for
Cold bedrooms, dorm twins and winter couch naps are where it earns its place. People who need dual controls for two sleepers or a full bed cover for a larger mattress should look at bigger sizes.
Pros and cons
- Soft plush microlight fabric
- Auto shut-off timer
- Adjustable heat levels
- Covers a single bed
- Heat level count not listed
- Sized for twin beds only
- Labelled both a throw and a twin
Performance notes
Warmth comes from the electric heating inside the blanket, set at the controller, so the chosen level matters more than the fabric. The plush microlight face holds that heat against the body, and the auto shut-off ends the cycle if it is left running. Machine washing lets it be cleaned without a separate cover.
