Overview
A 50x60 inch electric throw blanket in double sided flannel, with 10 heat settings and an 8 hour auto shut-off. It is sized for a single person on a couch or office chair rather than covering a full bed.
Two build details stand out here: 220gsm flannel that Homemate says feels warm even unplugged, and a thin 2.2mm heating wire meant to be less noticeable under the fabric than older, thicker heating elements. The 8 hour auto-off and ETL certification are the safety relevant specs, worth weighing against how long you would actually want it running unattended.
- 50 x 60 inch electric throw blanket
- 220gsm double sided flannel
- 10 heat levels, 8 hour auto shut-off
- ETL certified
Who it's for
Suits someone wanting a personal heated throw for a couch, office chair, or reading spot, with fine control over heat level. Too small to be a primary bed blanket for more than one person.
Pros and cons
- 10 heat level settings for fine control
- Auto shuts off after 8 hours
- Flannel feels warm even before it's plugged in
- 50x60 size fits one person, not a full bed
Performance notes
The 10 discrete heat levels give finer control than the 3 to 4 settings common on cheaper electric throws, and the auto shut-off after 8 hours caps how long it runs unattended. The 2.2mm heating wire is described as thin enough not to be felt through the flannel layers during use.
