Overview
Attitude's Soothing Shampoo (model 81141) is an unscented, oatmeal-based gel wash formulated for both cats and dogs, built around emollient oats for dry or irritated skin. It's vegan, cruelty-free and made without parabens or phthalates, in a 16 fl oz bottle.
The unscented Soothing Oatmeal formula sits apart from scented washes, aimed at pets with sensitive skin rather than owners chasing fragrance. Its gel consistency and hypoallergenic label position it as a moisturizing option rather than a deep-clean shampoo. It ranks inside the top 150 cat shampoos on Amazon.
- 16 fl oz gel shampoo
- Oatmeal-based, hypoallergenic formula
- Vegan and cruelty-free
- For cats and dogs
Who it's for
Owners of cats or dogs with dry, flaky or sensitive skin who want a fragrance-free wash. Also suits households that specifically look for vegan or cruelty-free grooming products. Not the pick for pet parents who want a scented shampoo to mask odor.
Pros and cons
- Unscented formula suited to sensitive skin
- Vegan and cruelty-free
- Works on both cats and dogs
- Free of parabens and phthalates
- No fragrance if you want a scented wash
- Gel form may take more work to lather than a foaming shampoo
Performance notes
The gel format is designed to spread and lather without stripping natural oils, with emollient oats meant to calm irritated skin during the wash rather than leave a scent afterward. Because it is unscented, most of what a moisturizing shampoo can visibly do shows up in coat softness rather than fragrance.
