Overview
Levoit's LV600S pairs warm and cool mist in one tank, built for bedrooms and larger rooms rather than a single nightstand. It connects to the VeSync app for auto humidity targeting, scheduling and remote monitoring, and adds a sleep mode that drops noise below 28 db and shuts off the display lights.
- Warm and cool mist from one tank
- VeSync app scheduling and auto mode
- Sub-28 db sleep mode
- Essential oil aroma box built in
Pros and cons
- Auto mode holds a target humidity overnight
- App scheduling and remote monitoring via VeSync
- Sleep mode drops noise and shuts off display lights
- Wide fill opening simplifies tank cleaning
- Mist level can't be set independently of a humidity target on some units
- Indicator lights stay on and can't be dimmed, per multiple owners
- Warm mist needs a heater cycle rather than instant steam
Performance notes
Owners running it from a one-bedroom condo up to roughly 1,500 sq ft report it holds a set humidity target through an 8-hour night, with the built-in sensor reading within about 7-10 percentage points of an external hygrometer, tighter than other brands some had tried. Tank runtime scales with size: one owner's larger tank lasted about a week on auto for a whole house, while a smaller nightly bedroom fill ran roughly two nights.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Levoit LV600S do both warm and cool mist?
Yes, it uses a PTC heater to warm the water before atomizing it, released at 86-120 F, alongside a standard cool mist setting.
Can I set both a humidity target and a mist strength?
Not on every unit; one detailed reviewer reports the auto humidity mode currently locks out manual mist-level selection.
