Overview
A Direct Connection joins a massive alloy barrel to an ultra-stiff composite handle in this hybrid BBCOR bat, giving a stiff feel and maximum energy transfer. A redesigned Tremor end cap protects barrel integrity.
Hybrid construction blends alloy pop with composite handle feel, which suits power hitters. The stiff connection passes more feedback than flexible two-piece designs.
Who it's for
High school and college power hitters get a stiff, heavy-hitting bat. Players wanting more sting reduction should look at a flexible connection.
Pros and cons
- Massive alloy barrel
- Stiff composite handle
- Direct Connection energy transfer
- Stiff feel on mishits
- Barrel diameter not listed
- Heavy for younger players
Performance notes
A stiff Direct Connection transfers more swing energy into the barrel but lets more vibration through. The massive alloy barrel is built for power hitters who square the ball up.
