Overview
The Courant COUKEP175K is a 1.7 liter, 1000W electric kettle with a cordless 360 degree rotating base, a removable washable scale filter and automatic shutoff when water reaches a boil.
Reviewer experiences vary more than usual for a kettle this size, with some finding it whisper-quiet and cool to the touch and others reporting a hot exterior or a unit that died after about a year. One long-term owner who used it daily for four years suspected quality control varies between units after their kettle finally failed. Automatic shutoff only triggers once boiling completes, not when the kettle is lifted early from the base.
- 1.7 liter capacity, 1000W power
- Cordless base with 360 degree rotation
- Removable washable scale filter
- Automatic shutoff at boiling, blue interior light
