Overview
A shallow, double-cutaway body joins a spruce top and sapele sides on this left-handed Ibanez Talman, so it plays more like an electric than a dreadnought. An Ibanez preamp with a built-in tuner handles amplified sound.
Electric players moving to acoustic, and anyone who wants a light guitar for long gigs, will find the shape easy to hold. The onboard tuner saves pedalboard space. Its thin body produces less low end than a full depth acoustic.
Who it's for
Lefty players who gig plugged in or switch between electric and acoustic get a light, easy reaching body. Those playing mostly unamplified at home may want a deeper body for more volume.

Performance notes
Body depth sets how much air the guitar moves, so the shallow Talman sounds brighter and lighter unplugged. The onboard preamp shapes its plugged in tone, where it is designed to shine.
