Overview
A hobby driver after a quick off-road truck gets a brushless four-wheel-drive model with a wireless remote. Extras in the box are a charging cable, a manual and a spare green body shell. It is listed for outdoor use in an alloy steel, PVC and plastic build.
Brushless power, two batteries and an extra shell give a driver more run time and a quick style swap. The limitation is listing noise: the age range says adult while the manufacturer age is lower, and charge time and run time are not given.
Who it's for
Teens, adults and older kids ready for a quick truck will enjoy the speed and the spare shell. Outdoor space is needed because the listing marks it for outdoor use. Skip it for indoor floors or very young children.
Pros and cons
- Brushless 4WD drivetrain
- Two batteries included
- Spare body shell included
- Fast listed top speed
- Age fields disagree
- Run time not listed
- Charge time not listed
Performance notes
A brushless motor gives higher speed and less wear than a brushed motor, and four-wheel drive spreads power to all wheels on loose ground. Run time depends on the lithium polymer batteries, and the listing gives no figure. The radio link between remote and truck is a standard hobby band.
