Overview
Not a plain wood deck, the Sector 9 Mini Lookout Wreckage is a bamboo drop through longboard with Hawaii-themed graphics. Sector 9 lists polyurethane wheels and an intermediate skill rating for adult riders.
Bamboo construction and island artwork from the Paradise Bamboo Collection give it a distinct look, and the drop through design sets the deck lower between the wheels. Data is thin, though: the listing skips trucks, bearings and a load rating, and the seller copy talks about two other shapes instead of this one.
Who it's for
Riders past the beginner stage who want a bamboo drop through board with standout graphics are the audience. Complete beginners, and anyone who needs truck specs, should look for a listing with more detail.
Pros and cons
- Bamboo deck construction
- Drop through design
- Artist-drawn Hawaiian graphics
- Trucks, bearings and included parts not listed
- Deck length fields disagree
- Seller copy describes different boards
- Rated intermediate, not for first-timers
Performance notes
Ride feel comes from the bamboo deck's flex, the drop through stance and the wheel hardness. Polyurethane wheels at the listed hardness grip and absorb small cracks, while truck setup, which the listing omits, decides turning response.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Sector 9 Mini Lookout Wreckage a Fractal Flora or Bambino Shorebreak?
No. The seller copy describes the Paradise Bamboo Collection and names the Fractal Flora and Bambino Shorebreak shapes, but this listing is the Mini Lookout Wreckage. Treat that copy as collection background, not a description of this board.
Who designed the Sector 9 Paradise Bamboo graphics?
Sector 9 credits waterman and artist Kenny Vidinich, head of One Vibe Creative Studios in East Honolulu, who drew on local destinations and flora for the illustrations.
