Overview
The PIT Boss 10773 is a propane smoker built around a stainless steel cabinet finished in red hammertone. At 46.9 inches tall on a 22.8 by 21.5 inch base, it favors vertical rack space over a wide footprint, and its 63 pound weight reflects a solid steel build.
Propane fuel means no wood or charcoal management once the tank is connected, just a valve to control heat. The tall cabinet format typically stacks more racks vertically than it spreads horizontally, and the hammertone finish tends to hide scuffs and fingerprints better than a smooth painted surface.
- Propane fueled smoker
- Stainless steel, red hammertone finish
- 46.9 in tall on a 22.8 x 21.5 in base
- 63 lb overall weight
Who it's for
Backyard cooks who want propane smoking without managing solid fuel, and who have space for a tall, narrow unit rather than a wide one.
Pros and cons
- Stainless steel resists corrosion
- Tall cabinet suits multi-rack smoking
- Hammertone finish hides scuffs
- 63 lb weight limits portability
- Propane requires tank refills
- No included accessory details
Performance notes
Propane fuel feeds a burner at the base of a 46.9 inch cabinet, so heat rises through multiple rack levels rather than spreading across a single wide chamber. Stainless steel construction resists the rust that plain steel smokers develop over repeated outdoor use.
