Overview
New DJs who mix on a phone get a small two deck controller that links to iOS or Android over Bluetooth. Jog wheels, faders, knobs and pads control the djay app, and a folding stand holds the phone.
Real hands-on controls without a laptop make it an easy start for casual mixing anywhere. The listing gives no detail on audio outputs or power, so check how you will hear the mix.
Who it's for
Teens, hobbyists and party hosts who already carry a phone get a portable controller with real jog wheels. Performers who play long sets from a laptop will want more channels and software support.
Pros and cons
- Wireless Bluetooth link
- Works with iOS and Android
- Djay app included
- Real jog wheels and faders
- Audio outputs not described
- Power source not described
- Two decks only
Performance notes
Bluetooth carries control data between the hardware and the app, so mixing responsiveness depends on the phone and the connection. The jog wheels and faders give tactile control that touchscreen mixing lacks.
