Overview
A thumb-controlled ball moves the cursor while the hand and wrist stay still on the desk. It connects by Bluetooth, charges from its built-in lithium ion cell and carries six buttons.
Bluetooth and a rechargeable battery mean no receiver or spare cells, and the list of compatible devices covers computers and a tablet. It suits right hands only, and the listing leaves out battery life and the actual sensitivity numbers.
Who it's for
Right-handed users who want less arm and wrist movement and who move between a computer and a tablet. Left-handed users should choose an ambidextrous trackball instead.
Pros and cons
- Rechargeable, no spare cells needed
- Several device types listed as compatible
- LED embellishment feature listed
- Six buttons for shortcuts
- Right hand only
- Battery life not listed
- DPI values not listed
Performance notes
The thumb rolls the ball, and the DPI level sets how far the cursor travels per roll. Bluetooth range is rated at the stated distance, with walls and interference reducing it in practice. Charging method and run time are not described.
