Overview
A 6-pack of pre-tied, tapered fly fishing leaders from HERCULES, each 9 feet long with a loop connector already tied on, made from nylon.
The line weight is listed at 3.7 pounds, light even for a tapered leader, so it likely reflects the finest tippet-end diameter rather than the leader's full breaking strength. Treat that figure as approximate given how tapered leaders vary in strength along their length.
- 6-pack of leaders
- 9-foot tapered length
- Nylon material
- Pre-tied loop connector
Who it's for
Fits fly anglers who want ready-to-attach leaders without hand-tying loops streamside, useful for re-rigging quickly between spots. Not needed by anglers who already tie their own tapered leaders and prefer control over taper design.
Pros and cons
- Pre-tied loop saves rigging time streamside
- Tapered nylon design for turnover
- 6 leaders per pack
- Line weight spec is light and likely reflects tippet-end strength only
Performance notes
Nylon leaders like these stretch more than fluorocarbon, which helps absorb hookset shock on light tippets, and the pre-tied loop means attaching to fly line takes a loop-to-loop connection rather than a knot.
