Overview
The Vortex Razor HD Gen III RZR-63602 is a 6-36x50 first focal plane riflescope with an illuminated EBR-7D reticle and L-Tec+ Zero Stop turrets, built for long range precision shooters who need holdover and windage data that stays accurate at any magnification.
- 6-36x50 first focal plane magnification
- Illuminated EBR-7D ranging reticle
- L-Tec+ Zero Stop turrets with micro adjust
- O-ring sealed, argon purged waterproof and fogproof housing
Who it's for
Long range precision shooters and hunters who lean on holdover reticles rather than dialing for every shot. It's overkill for casual plinking or close range carbine work where a lower, simpler magnification range would serve better.
Pros and cons
- Owners describe the glass as sharp even at full zoom
- Tough aircraft grade aluminum housing
- Micro adjust zero stop simplifies re-zeroing
- Transferable lifetime VIP warranty
Performance notes
The L-Tec+ Zero Stop turret returns to zero with a single set screw after adjustment, and the anodized shadow finish keeps glare down in the field. O-ring seals and argon purge give it waterproof and fogproof performance, while Armortek coating on the lenses is meant to resist scratches, oil and dirt during handling.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Vortex Razor HD Gen III RZR-63602 first or second focal plane?
It's first focal plane, so the EBR-7D reticle's holdover and windage marks stay accurate at any magnification setting, not just one.
What warranty comes with this scope?
It carries Vortex's unlimited, unconditional, lifetime VIP warranty, which is transferable and covers repair or replacement for damage or defects, excluding loss, theft or deliberate damage.
Does the RZR-63602 arrive in a sealed factory box?
Not always. Several buyers report receiving boxes that were already opened or had a torn seal, even though the scope itself was new and undamaged.
