Overview
Snapping together color coded blocks builds a marble course with a musical corkscrew, a vortex, a see-saw and ramps in this VTech Marble Rush set. A leveled guide shows three builds, and kids can design their own.
Color coding and a step by step guide let preschoolers build without adult help, and the corkscrew adds lights and sound. The included batteries are only for store demo, so regular play needs new ones.
Who it's for
Designed for young kids learning cause and effect through building. Older kids who want precise, challenging layouts may find it simple quickly.
Pros and cons
- Color coded pieces are easy to match
- Musical corkscrew with lights
- Three guided builds plus free play
- Combines with other Marble Rush sets
- Batteries in box are demo only
- Large footprint when built
- No warranty listed
Performance notes
Marbles start from a barrel and roll by gravity through ramps to the corkscrew, vortex and elevator. The powered corkscrew is the only motorized part, so fresh batteries keep it running smoothly.
