Overview
Smiski makes tiny glow in the dark creatures, and the At Work series shows them hiding around desks and offices. Each sealed blind box holds one figure chosen at random, made from a phosphorescent PVC that charges in light.
The glow and the office theme make it a fun gift for a coworker or a monitor ledge. Buying single boxes means no control over which pose turns up.
Who it's for
Aimed at teens and adults who decorate desks and enjoy collecting a series. Young children and buyers set on one particular pose should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Glows in the dark
- Small enough for any desk
- Fun office theme
- Sealed box hides the design
- No choice of design
- Figure size not listed
Performance notes
The glow comes from phosphorescent material that absorbs light, so it shines brighter after time under a lamp or sun. In a dark room the glow fades as the charge runs down.
