Ultra Fresh Scented Micro Crystals Cat Litter 5 lb

Overview

Ultra Fresh Scented Micro Crystals is a silica gel crystal cat litter in a 5 pound bag, formulated to run 99.9 percent dust free and soft on paws, with a Summer Breeze scent layered in.

Crystal litters absorb moisture and trap odor inside the granules rather than clumping like clay, so the box typically gets a full changeout on a schedule instead of daily scoop-and-top-off. The Summer Breeze scent is meant to add to that odor control rather than replace it. At 5 pounds, this is a smaller bag, worth checking against how many cats and boxes you're running before treating it as a bulk supply.

• 99.9% dust free
• Summer Breeze scent
• 5 pound bag
• Silica gel crystal formula

Who it's for

Cat owners who prefer low dust and don't mind a full-box changeout routine over daily clumping and scooping suit this litter. Multi-cat households burning through litter quickly may find the 5 pound size too small to be economical.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Silica crystal litter controls odor by absorbing urine and locking moisture inside the granules, a different mechanic from clumping clay that a scoop pulls out in clumps. Because the crystals don't clump, the box generally needs full litter replacement on a schedule rather than daily scooping, though solid waste can still be removed between changes.
