Overview
A 50-foot indoor/outdoor extension cord from HUANCHAIN on 16/3 SJTW wire, rated 13 amps and 1625 watts, with a hook on the socket end for hanging and a weather-resistant jacket rated down to -50 C.
This sits in the same 50-foot, 13A/1625W outdoor category as the Amazon Basics and Go Green cords, with HUANCHAIN's version adding a hanging hook at the socket end and a stated cold-weather rating. The listing is explicit that 16 AWG wire like this shouldn't be used to power a heater, worth noting since that's a common extension cord mistake. It ships coiled with storage straps rather than loose.
- 50-foot 16/3 SJTW cord
- 13A / 1625W, ETL listed
- Rated to -50 C
- Hook and strain-relief design
Who it's for
Suited to outdoor and job-site work needing 50 feet of reach, from power tools to a portable AC unit, in homes that also deal with cold weather. Not meant for high-draw appliances like space heaters, which the listing specifically calls out.
Performance notes
The hook at the socket end lets it hang in damp conditions instead of sitting on wet ground, and strain relief at both plug ends is meant to keep the cord from cracking where it bends most.
