Overview
Remote workers and dorm dwellers get one screen that runs streaming apps, Microsoft office apps and video calls on its own, then switches to a laptop over USB-C. The included SlimFit camera clips on top and tilts or detaches for privacy.
Built in apps, AirPlay and a camera let it serve as TV, PC display and call station on one desk. A TV tuner is not included, and the refresh rate stays at sixty hertz, which limits fast gaming.
Who it's for
People working from a small space who want a big screen for documents by day and shows at night. Over the air TV viewers should note the tuner is not included.
Pros and cons
- Streams apps without a PC
- Detachable SlimFit camera
- USB-C laptop connection
- AirPlay for Apple devices
- TV tuner not included
- Sixty hertz refresh
- Only two HDMI ports
- Modest brightness for HDR
Performance notes
Text clarity at desk distance comes from the Ultra HD resolution spread over a large panel, so sitting a bit farther back helps. HDR impact is limited by the moderate peak brightness. Apps run on the built in Tizen system, so streaming quality depends on the Wi-Fi link.
