Overview
A tea drinker who wants a kettle that looks good on the counter gets the Haden Heritage, a stainless steel kettle in ivory and copper on a swivel base. A lit water window shows the level, and a removable filter catches scale.
British inspired styling and a lit water window make it a kitchen accent as well as a tool. It boils only, with no temperature presets for green or white teas.
Who it's for
Tea and soluble coffee drinkers wanting a decorative kettle will use it daily. Green tea and pour over fans should look at a variable temperature kettle.
Pros and cons
- Lit water window
- No temperature control
- Painted finish may chip
- Warranty not listed
Performance notes
Boil time depends on the element power and fill level. The auto shut-off ends heating at the boil, and boil-dry protection stops it running empty. The removable filter catches scale flakes when pouring.
