Overview
Dash cams, doorbells and home security cameras that record nonstop are where the SanDisk MAX ENDURANCE card belongs. It is engineered to survive constant rewriting and harsh conditions.
Long rated recording life means fewer worn-out cards in cameras that never stop writing. For fast photo bursts or large file transfers, the listing gives no write speed to judge.
Who it's for
Continuous video recorders in cars and around the home suit an endurance card. Action camera and mirrorless shooters needing top write speeds should look at a performance card.
Pros and cons
- Rated for very long recording
- Survives heat, water and shock
- Video speed class for HD and 4K
- SD adapter for card readers
- Write speed not listed
- Warranty listed as limited and none
- Read speed modest for big transfers
Performance notes
Endurance comes from flash built to handle constant overwrite cycles, which wear out ordinary cards in dash cams. The video speed class sets the floor for sustained recording.
