Overview
Setting up a home studio in one order is what this Focusrite bundle does, pairing a four input interface with Mackie monitors, a condenser mic, headphones and cables. Air mode brightens vocals on the front inputs, and loopback handles streaming.
A matched, ready to record setup is why to buy it, saving hours of choosing separate parts. The bullets and the description name different interface generations and different monitor sizes, so confirm what ships.
Who it's for
New home recordists, vocalists and podcasters starting from scratch will use every piece. Experienced users with existing gear should buy the interface alone.
Pros and cons
- Complete studio in one order
- Four inputs and four outputs
- Loopback for streaming
- Powered monitors with front volume
- Interface generation listed two ways
- Monitor size listed two ways
- Small monitors limit bass
Performance notes
Recording quality starts at the preamps, and Air mode adds high end presence on vocals. Four outputs allow two pairs of monitors for A/B checks. Small monitors give clear mids but limited low end, so check bass on headphones too.
