Overview
In the backyard or at a first tee ball practice, the Easton Moxie gives small hitters a very light alloy bat with an enlarged sweet spot. It is approved for USA Baseball sanctioned tee ball leagues.
Easy swinging is the goal, since a high drop weight makes the bat light for its length. The listing never gives the bat length or weight, so match it to the child before buying.
Who it's for
Tee ball beginners who struggle with heavier bats will find it easy to control. Older players who face live pitching need a heavier, longer bat.
Pros and cons
- Very light for young hitters
- Big sweet spot for contact
- USA Baseball tee ball approved
- Durable alloy build
- Length not listed
- Too light past tee ball
- Barrel size only in the title
Performance notes
Swing speed comes from the high drop weight, which puts little mass in the barrel for small arms to move. The enlarged sweet spot widens the area that produces clean contact off a tee.
