Overview
The Votatu P3X is a fixed 3x prism scope with a glass-etched reticle and switchable red or green illumination, built around a see-through riser for co-witnessing with iron sights.
- Fixed 3x magnification, 30mm objective lens
- Etched reticle works with or without illumination
- Red and green illumination, 10 intensity levels
- Nitrogen-filled, fogproof, shockproof, waterproof housing
Who it's for
Suits shooters on lighter-recoiling rifles or rimfire builds who want a budget prism sight with a see-through riser for co-witnessed iron sights. Less suited to shooters who need long eye relief or heavy round counts on harder-recoiling calibers, given at least one report of the reticle shifting over time.
Pros and cons
- See-through riser allows co-witnessing with iron sights
- Tool-less pull-up turret adjustments are quick to use
- Shake awake illumination in red or green with 10 intensity levels
- Ships with a hard case, spare battery, cleaning wipe and Allen wrench
Performance notes
The riser base adds roughly 5/8 inch of clearance so iron sights remain visible underneath, which one reviewer specifically sought out after searching for scopes meeting that requirement.
