Overview
A 3-pack of AmberVec stylus pens in blue, pink and purple, each with a precision disc tip on one end and a fiber tip on the other. Spare tips of both kinds are stored inside the pen body, and a magnetic cap attaches to either end.
This is a passive, universal stylus rather than a pressure-sensitive pen like Apple Pencil, so it works across capacitive touchscreens generally, phones, Android tablets and iPads included, but without pressure or tilt sensitivity. On iPad, the listing notes you need to turn off the Only Draw with Apple Pencil setting for it to register at all.
- 2-in-1 disc tip and fiber tip on each pen
- 3-pack in blue, pink and purple
- Spare tips stored inside the pen body
- Magnetic cap fits either end
Who it's for
Suits anyone who wants an affordable, no-pairing stylus for note-taking, sketching or just keeping fingerprints off a screen across several devices, not someone who needs Apple Pencil-level pressure sensitivity.
Pros and cons
- 3-pack with 3 colors and spare tips built into each pen
- Works across iOS, Android and Windows capacitive touchscreens
- Magnetic cap attaches to either end to help avoid losing it
- Passive stylus with no pressure or tilt sensitivity
- IPad requires disabling Only Draw with Apple Pencil in Settings first
Performance notes
The disc tip is aimed at precise writing and drawing without leaving broken lines, while the fiber tip on the opposite end suits scrolling and browsing without leaving fingerprints. Spare tips for both are hidden inside the aluminum alloy barrel and the magnetic cap holds to either end so it is less likely to go missing.
