Overview
Pairing this Edifier speaker over Bluetooth gives a laptop, projector or TV a small stereo bar, and USB power or the built-in battery runs it. A carry pouch and a C-C cable come in the box for taking it along.
Portability is its strength: a battery, a carry pouch and a USB cable make it easy to move from desk to patio. Output is modest, so it suits a desk or small room more than a living room TV.
Who it's for
Suited to a desk, dorm room or outdoor table where sound only needs to reach a few people. Owners of a large TV in a big room should look at a larger bar.
Pros and cons
- Built-in battery for unplugged use
- USB power from a laptop or charger
- Carry pouch for travel
- Simple one-touch controls
- Low output power
- Not water resistant despite outdoor use
- Listed dimensions look wrong
- No optical or HDMI input
Performance notes
Volume and bass are bounded by the small drivers and low amplifier power, so it suits listening within arm's reach. Battery playtime depends on volume level, and USB power lets it run from a laptop at a desk.
