Overview
A pack of 25 nickel-plated steel hooks in a size 1/0 fiber guard pattern, built as octopus and worm style hooks for bass fishing.
Fiber guard hooks use a stiff weed guard to help the hook slide through cover before setting, which pairs naturally with the octopus and worm styles listed here for soft plastic rigging. Nickel plating adds some corrosion resistance over bare steel, and the black nickel finish sits on top of that plating.
- 25 hooks per pack
- Size 1/0 fiber guard
- Nickel-plated steel, black nickel finish
- Octopus and worm hook styles
Who it's for
Bass anglers rigging soft plastics who want a weed guard hook for fishing around cover. Not intended for anglers targeting species that need a different hook size than 1/0.
Pros and cons
- Fiber guard helps hooks work through cover
- Nickel plating resists corrosion
- 25 hooks per pack
- Single size, 1/0, so no size variety in one pack
- Weed guard adds a step compared to open hooks
Performance notes
The fiber weed guard stiffens the hook point's approach through grass or brush, reducing snags while still letting the point set on a solid strike. Nickel plating over steel resists rust better than uncoated hooks left in a wet tackle box.
