Overview
The Reaction RT-US-WNH10-WD is a pack of 25 worm hooks built from high carbon steel with a black nickel finish. Sized 1/0 with a wire weed guard, they are made for rigging soft plastic worms for bass.
This listing covers one hook size only, 1/0, so it suits anglers already dialed into that size for their plastic worm rigs. The wire guard is the main feature here, meant to keep the point from snagging in grass and brush during the retrieve.
- 1/0 wire guard worm hooks
- High carbon steel, black nickel finish
- 25 hooks per pack
- Built for soft plastic worm rigging
Who it's for
Bass anglers who fish soft plastic worms in and around cover, where a hook needs to slide through vegetation without fouling. Less useful for anyone targeting species outside bass or fishing open water without cover.
Pros and cons
- Wire weed guard suited to fishing in cover
- High carbon steel construction
- 25 hooks per pack for restocking worm rigs
- Only one size, 1/0, included
- Finish and eye style not detailed beyond black nickel
Performance notes
The wire guard is positioned to shield the point as the hook moves through cover, then flex out of the way when a fish strikes and pressure is applied. High carbon steel gives the hook body its strength for setting through soft plastic and into a fish's jaw.
