Overview
Beyond's BEYBLA3030 is an 8 strand braided fishing line, spooled to 300 yards at 30 pound test in a blackout, no fade color. Polyethylene construction gives it a thin diameter relative to its line class.
Braided lines like this one carry a thinner diameter per pound of test than monofilament, so 30 pound braid casts and spools more like a lighter mono line while still handling more pressure. The blackout no fade claim addresses a common braid complaint, color loss after repeated use in sunlight.
- 8 strand braided construction
- 300 yard spool
- 30 pound test
- Blackout no fade color
Who it's for
Anglers who want a low stretch, thin diameter line for direct hooksets around cover or in deeper water. Best paired with a leader in clear water since braid is more visible than mono or fluorocarbon.
Pros and cons
- Thin diameter for a 30 pound line class
- 8 strand build for smoother casting
- Blackout finish resists fading
- Braid is more visible in clear water without a leader
- 300 yards is the only length offered in this listing
Performance notes
As an 8 strand polyethylene braid, this line has minimal stretch, which transfers hookset force directly rather than absorbing it the way mono does. The blackout finish is built to hold its color longer than dyed braids that fade with sun and use.
