Overview
The Power 21100200500E is a braided fishing line in a 500 yard spool rated to 20 pounds, finished in moss green.
Braided line in the 20 pound class is a common middle-ground choice for anglers moving up from monofilament, offering thinner diameter and less stretch than mono at the same strength. The moss green color is aimed at anglers fishing in vegetation or stained water.
- 500 yard spool
- 20 pound line weight
- Moss green color
Who it's for
Anglers who want a mid-strength braided mainline for spinning or baitcasting reels, particularly around cover where a low-visibility green line helps. Not the right pick if you specifically need fluorocarbon's abrasion resistance or need a heavier test.
Pros and cons
- 20 pound test on a full 500 yard spool
- Braided construction for low stretch and thin diameter
- Moss green color for low visibility in cover
- Only a moderate 100 recent purchases compared to other listings in this batch
- No stated abrasion rating
Performance notes
Braided lines get their strength-to-diameter advantage from woven fibers rather than a single strand, which means less stretch and better sensitivity to bites compared with monofilament of the same test. That lack of stretch also means less shock absorption on hard hooksets, something to account for with light-mouthed fish.
