Overview
Renters and apartment dwellers who cannot plumb an under sink system get reverse osmosis on the counter instead. You fill the tank, plug it in, and the unit filters and treats water with UV.
Getting RO water with no installation is the reason to choose it, and the drain ratio wastes less than many systems. It takes a real slice of counter and only dispenses room temperature water.
Who it's for
Apartments, offices and RVs where an under sink install is not allowed. Households that want a cold or hot tap should look at a different dispenser.
Pros and cons
- UV stage uses no chemicals
- Efficient drain ratio
- Twist change filter cartridges
- Removable drip tray
- Room temperature only
- Takes counter space
- Tank needs manual filling
Performance notes
Water passes through carbon and the RO membrane, then UV, so filter condition and source water TDS set output quality. The system is rated for source water under its TDS limit.
