Overview
Veise packages its fingerprint deadbolt with a pair of matching passage knobs, so the front door hardware changes in one install. Fingerprints, cards, codes, eKeys and a key all open it.
Matching hardware and a deep user list suit a household or rental that wants to replace everything at once. Bluetooth alone means app control near the door; anything from afar needs the gateway.
Who it's for
Owners refreshing an entry with smart access and matching knobs. Anyone who wants a lever handle should look at the lever version.
Pros and cons
- Matching knobs included
- Large fob and code capacity
- Two cards in the box
- Secure and passage modes
- Gateway needed for remote access
- IP54 is a modest water resistance level
- Battery type not listed
Performance notes
Bluetooth links the lock to a nearby phone; remote alerts and voice control run through the WiFi gateway. Auto lock and secure mode work at the lock itself without the gateway.
