Overview
A 38 by 26 inch foam mattress pad sized for standard pack and play playpens, with a waterproof, machine washable cover and rounded corners meant to close the gap along the rails.
It ships vacuum sealed and compressed, so like most memory-style foam pads it needs 24 to 48 hours after unboxing to reach its full 1.28 inch thickness, more in cold rooms. The cover pulls off through a zipper for washing, but only that outer layer is machine washable; the foam core itself gets a shower rinse if it needs cleaning.
- Sized for standard 38 by 26 inch playpens
- 1.28 inch breathable foam core
- Waterproof, hypoallergenic cover with zip removal
- Includes a carry bag for travel
Pros and cons
- Fits snugly with no gaps at the edges
- Cover machine washes and dries quickly
- Comfortable for both newborns and toddlers
- Feels thin until it fully expands
- Won't fit oddly sized or nonstandard playpens
Performance notes
The 1.28 inch foam layer is meant to balance cushioning with the firm, flat support pediatric guidance calls for in an infant sleep surface, and the breathable structure is built to move heat away rather than trap it against the baby.

It is cut for the standard 38 by 26 inch playpen size; at least one reviewer found it did not fit a nonstandard-sized pack and play.
Can the whole mattress be machine washed?
Only the removable outer cover is machine washable; the foam core is meant to be rinsed in a shower or bath instead.
