Overview
A deer trail behind the barn or a feeder clearing suits this Mossy Oak trail camera, which uses a PIR sensor and infrared LEDs to capture day and night photos. An adjustable strap wraps any tree.
Long battery life cuts trips to the camera, and the infrared flash works without spooking game with white light. Resolution and video are modest.
Who it's for
Hunters checking a few spots on their own land get a low-fuss camera. Those wanting phone alerts or crisp video should look at newer models.
Pros and cons
- Long battery life
- Infrared night photos
- Video only 720p
- Batteries and card not listed as included
- Wireless label unclear in specs
Performance notes
The PIR sensor fires the camera on heat and motion, and infrared LEDs light the scene at night. Battery life depends on how often it triggers and the weather.
