Overview
Not a cellular camera, the Wildgame Terra Extreme is a simple card-based trail camera in Trubark camo. Infrared LEDs light night images, and bungee cords strap it to a tree or post.
Simplicity is its strength: strap it up, add batteries and a card, and check it later. Infrared helps avoid spooking game. Detection range is modest and the trigger speed is unstated.
Who it's for
New hunters watching one trail or feeder get an easy camera. Serious scouts covering wide fields need more range and speed.
Pros and cons
- Simple strap-on setup
- Infrared night images
- Trigger speed not listed
- Short flash and detection range
- Batteries and card extra
Performance notes
Detection range governs how far out animals trigger it, and the infrared LEDs set night image reach. Photo resolution decides how much detail shows on a buck. Battery life depends on how often it fires.
