Overview
The TRUSCEND HXLC2 is a pack of five metal jigs at 3/8 oz (10.5 g) each, paired with BKK fishing hooks, sold in the A1 3/8oz color option.
Jig weight determines how fast a lure sinks and how it feels in the water column, and 3/8 oz sits in a versatile range for casting to mid depth structure without the bulk of heavier jigs. Pairing with BKK hooks, a hook brand known in the fishing tackle trade, points to a sharper out of box point than generic hardware.
- 5 count metal jig pack
- 3/8 oz (10.5g) weight
- BKK fishing hooks
- A1 3/8oz color option
Who it's for
Suits anglers who want a stocked box of mid weight jigs for general casting rather than a single specialized lure. Less useful for anglers who need a specific weight outside the 3/8 oz range for deep or very shallow presentations.
Pros and cons
- 5 jigs per pack for restocking a tackle box
- 3/8 oz weight suits general mid depth casting
- BKK branded hooks included
- Single weight option limits use in very deep or shallow water
- Metal construction can snag on rocky bottoms
- Color choice limited in this listing
Performance notes
At 3/8 oz, these jigs sink at a moderate rate that works for casting to structure without dropping too fast for a controlled retrieve. BKK hooks are a recognized hook manufacturer in fishing tackle, which typically means a sharper point out of the package than jigs paired with unbranded hooks.
