Overview
Not a natural carnauba paste, this Fusso Coat wax is a synthetic fluoropolymer formula made for dark paint. You apply it by hand with the included sponge, and the slick layer it leaves resists dirt and road film between washes.
Owners of black or deep colored cars get a durable, slick finish that the maker claims lasts far longer than ordinary wax. The listing skips tin weight, cure time and removal steps, and it is the Japanese market version.
Who it's for
Drivers of dark cars who wax a few times a year at most will value the long service life. Owners of light colored paint should use the light paint version instead.
Pros and cons
- Formulated for dark finishes
- Long claimed durability
- Many applications per tin
- Slick layer sheds road film
- Japan version, instructions may vary
- Net weight not listed
- Cure time not given
Performance notes
Durability comes from the fluoropolymer and PTFE layer bonding to the clear coat rather than sitting as soft wax. The slick surface lowers how much grime sticks. Results on dark paint depend on a clean, swirl free base, since wax deepens gloss but does not hide heavy marks.
