Overview
BatherBox packages this dog shampoo in a full gallon, aimed at owners or groomers who bathe dogs often enough to want a bulk supply. It's formulated with coconut oil and herbal extracts and scented Pink Peony and Poppy.
The product benefits list, conditioning, deodorizing, deshedding, detangling, moisturizing and soothing, covers most of what a general-purpose dog shampoo is asked to do, rather than targeting one issue like fleas or a medicated skin condition. The gallon size and professional-grade framing point this at higher-frequency use, whether that's a home with multiple dogs or a grooming setup.
- 1 gallon (128 fl oz)
- Coconut oil and herbal extracts
- Pink Peony and Poppy scent
- Allergen-free formula
Who it's for
Owners who bathe their dog regularly or groomers who go through shampoo quickly and want a gallon rather than a 12 to 16 ounce bottle. It's not positioned as a medicated or flea shampoo, so dogs with a diagnosed skin condition need a targeted product instead.
Pros and cons
- Gallon size covers many baths before running out
- Coconut oil and herbal extract formula
- Multiple claimed benefits including deshedding and detangling
- Large bottle isn't practical for occasional one-dog use
Performance notes
The formula is built around coconut oil and herbal extracts and is labeled allergen-free, with claimed benefits spanning conditioning, deshedding, detangling and soothing dry or itchy skin. As a liquid shampoo sold by the gallon, it's suited to routine use rather than a single bath, and the scent is Pink Peony and Poppy rather than unscented.
