Overview
With a 17.7 lb drum and ten wash programs, the Krib Bling KB02-GOLD6 is a larger-capacity option among portable washers built for apartments and dorms.
Long-term owners set this apart from smaller portable washers, several describing two years of use washing comforters and jeans without issue. It drains through a built-in pump and hose rather than requiring manual bailing. One reviewer's account of the unit overheating and smoking under repeated daily heavy-duty loads stands out against an otherwise consistent run of positive long-term reports, worth weighing if you plan on multiple heavy loads a day.
- 17.7 lb honeycomb-drum capacity
- 10 wash programs, low/medium/high water levels
- Built-in drain pump and hose
- Child lock on control panel
Who it's for
Apartment and dorm dwellers who need a higher-capacity portable washer, including bulkier items like jeans and lighter comforters, are the target buyer here. Anyone planning several heavy-duty loads back to back in one day should note the overheating report below.
Performance notes
Ten programs cover everything from quick wash to heavy duty and standard cycles, with water level choices described as low, medium and high (16, 23 and 30 liters). A built-in drain pump pushes dirty water out through the included hose, and the honeycomb-textured stainless drum is designed to mimic hand washing and cut down on tangling. A child lock is included on the control panel.
