Overview
A 23-piece carving kit pairing 4 carving knives and 5 detail knives with 9 basswood practice blocks, a leather strop and gloves, aimed at beginners starting whittling with walnut-handled, pre-sharpened blades.
The blades are stainless steel with added Mo. V alloy for durability and corrosion resistance, pre-sharpened and assembled under air pressure to avoid warping. Everything ships in a portable bag, and the basswood blocks give new carvers soft, forgiving material to practice on rather than jumping straight into hardwood.
- 23 pieces: 4 carving knives, 5 detail knives, 9 basswood blocks
- Stainless steel blades with Mo. V alloy, pre-sharpened
- Leather strop and gloves included
- Walnut handles finished for grip and durability
Who it's for
Beginners and hobbyists, including supervised kids, wanting a full starter set rather than buying knives and wood separately. Not built for advanced carvers working regularly in hardwood.
