Overview
Not a stand alone intercom, this is the apartment side monitor of a video door system built for multi unit buildings. A touchscreen shows the visitor, and the thin flat body mounts on a wall.
Touch control and a clear video screen make it straightforward for tenants to see and answer a door call. It needs the rest of the IXG system to work, and the listing says nothing about power, wiring or software updates.
Who it's for
Building managers and installers adding a tenant station to an IXG installation. A home buyer who needs a complete intercom kit with a door station should look at an all in one package.
Pros and cons
- Flat wall mount design
- Video monitoring of the door
- Smartphone compatible per the specs
- Needs the IXG system
- Not water resistant
- Software update status unknown
Performance notes
Video arrives over the building network and appears on the screen. Calls are answered from the touchscreen, though network and power requirements are absent from the data.
